Washington Wine Highway
We toured around the state of Washington on the annual Wine Highway at Chateau Ste Michelle yesterday. We enjoyed the nice afternoon, some
delicious wines, and interesting foods. Wineries that stood out to me were Dunham and Basel and Gifford Hirlinger…. all from Walla Walla region. The folks from Willis Hall were also interesting to
talk with, despite being rushed through our tasting. The best food of the day was easily the sliders from Meritage Wine Bar in Redmond and the White Chocalate
Passion Fruit Truffles from Tulalip Casinos Restaurant. Most memorable though was the time we spent with our friends, chatting about life, the wines, the turning of the season to summer, and adventures.
