Griffey Jr WAS the best

I’m actually looking forward to this too and would like to be there on Friday when Griffey comes back to Seattle for the first time since he last played here in 99. Griffey was easily my childhood hero of the 90’s - I must have had over 150 of his baseball cards (Mom: please don’t toss those out). Its unfortunate that he had to move to Cincinnati and that he wasn’t able to stay healthy enough to challenge Barry Bonds for the all time home run title, but I’d rather remember him rounding third on Edgar’s double against the Yankees in 95 with Neihaus going nuts and the Kingdome erupting…
