“You realize it’s such a small window and it’s so competitive to get in,” said Horn. “I’ve got to do everything imaginable to take advantage of an opportunity when I’m given one.”
“It’s been off and on for a good portion (of the NFL season),” Horn said of dealing with the Panthers. “Right toward the end of the season the talks started getting more and more serious. It’s pretty neat how it all fell together.”
