2003 Tsillan Cellars Chardonnay
According to the folks at Tsillan: Concentrated and generous in flavor, but light and crisp in texture. Wonderful apple, lemon, melon, and butter flavors come through with hints of toast. Subtle oak lingers on the finish from 9 months barrel aging in a mix of new and used French and American oak.
According to me: Everytime I have run through the tasting at Tsillan, this wine has been my favorite. Very oakey, and thats my favorite taste in a Chardonnay.
