2003 Caves Fluery Bordeaux Rouge.

According to them: Le Bordeaux Rouge des CAVES FLEURY possède une robe légèrement pourpre. Il est finement concentré, intense et élégant. Ses arômes sont pleins de charmes, riches, avec une touche de fruits mûrs.
Adapté au plus grand nombre de plats, son équilibre séduira aussi facilement les dames que les messieurs.
Servir à température ambiante et l’ouvrir un peu avant sa dégustation afin qu’il s’épanouisse.

According to Sean O’Connor: Caves Fleury is a large distributor of French wines.  I don’t speak a whole lot of French, so I’m not entirely sure what the above says.  I know this much though - this wine is a 60/40 cab merlot bordeaux blend that leads with a strong nose of licorish and tabacco.  The finish is an smooth and silky.  Its not too dry and not too sweet - very well balanced.  At under $8 at Costco, you can’t go wrong with this rouge.
