NBA Playoff Action
During the NBA regular season I’d estimate that watch maybe a total of 8 quarters of action. I generally can’t stand it: its boring, the games don’t seem to mean much on a daily basis to the millionaires playing, and I don’t have a team that I can really get behind (the Sonics and the Celtics have been mediocre for too many years).
One thing I can say for the NBA is that David Stern has figured out how to do the playoffs right. The games start to matter all of the sudden and the superstars either carry their team to the next round (Nash) or crash back to earth and head out fishing (Kobe).
Now that we are down to the best 8 teams, here are my picks for this year.
NBA Finals: Detroit vs Phoenix.
2006 NBA Champions: Phoenix Suns in 7.
