Materrazi… what did he say anyway?
What could provoke the worlds greatest soccer player to lose his mind in the most critical minutes of the most critical game of his career?

If Materazzi did say the most unthinkable horrific insult he could think of, does that make Zidane’s action a little more acceptable? how about understandable?
Personally, I don’t think so. The first thing I said was “wow I bet that Italian said something really nasty.” These athletes hear the worst of the worst from each other and talking trash is part of playing the game. It does prove to me that everyone, even the very best of the best, do eventually crack under pressure.
Then again, thats my biased opinion.
