L A M E . . . . .
I think I actually came close to picking the score of the Super Bowl correctly.
The way I see it, the officials cost the Seahawks two touchdowns. The first of these, a touchdown by Darryl Jackson was called back due to pass interferance and the Hawks had to settle for a field goal. The second touchdown never happened, but would have been a Shaun Alexander run early in the fourth quarter after Jeramy Stevens caught a long pass over the middle to take it to the one yard line. But, this play was called back due to a phantom holding call. This game was unfortunately decided by the officials.
I’ll give the Steelers the benefit of the doubt on Big Ben’s touchdown in the second quarter, that was a close call.
Add on two Josh Brown field goals that he usually makes, and the Hawks win 27-21… But, instead we witnessed something entirely different.
