fall in seattle
Today felt like fall in Seattle. I love and fear the transitional time between seasons here. Depending on how you look at it, fall in Seattle is either a really short period of time (a few weeks in October) or a really long period of time combined with spring (October thru June). I like to think of fall as these few weeks where the days get shorter, the nights get cooler, and the leaves start to turn.
I love it, because the air is crisp, the trees are beautiful, the busy summer months are behind us, football is in full swing, baseball playoffs get intense, and Zags basketball is right around the corner. I fear it, because the days are shorter, the air is cooler, and the warm summer nights are gone until next July.
