Bill Walton and the Lakers are growing on me
My dad, a lifetime Los Angeles Lakers fan, is going to be proud of me for saying this: I think I am becoming a Lakers fan. I don’t typically enjoy watching the NBA until the playoffs, but I love to root for ex-Zags. So far this season I’ve actually enjoyed watching to 2006 Lakers (especially when […]
Gonzaga Basketball Thoughts
Another game tonight, and I keep thinking about how much I enjoy watching this years version of The Zags.
It’s still early, but here are my three keys to being sucessful (Sweet 16) this year.
1. guard play. the development of Jeremy Pargo and Matt Bouldin will be huge to this team. I have my doubts in […]
My highlight of the Seattle Snowstorm
I was watching the King 5 news tonight here in Seattle, and they appropriately spent the entire broadcast covering Seattle’s snowstorm and ensuing deep freeze - which has left many of the roads in the area very icy.
Growing up in Eastern Washington and driving in snow and icy roads for many years, its always interesting to […]
Rain and Snow Mix - Seahawks show USA how Seattle lives
What perfect timing for another Nationally televised Seahawks game. Monday Night football usually provides a huge audience, and once again mother nature has cooperated to show everyone exactly how miserable the weather is here. In all reality, its really not that bad, but 15 inches of rain in one month is pretty unbelievable.
Go hawks.
More-No

I found this post from the blog of Keith Law at ESPN very interesting:
The reality of baseball is that […]

WOW #22
2005 Abrazo del Toro
According to the back of the bottle: Carinena is an area rich in history with strong Roman and Moorish influences. The region’s famous “El Cierzo” dry winds enrich the climate and maintain the health of the low yielding vineyards that contribute to this Abrazo del Toro. Rich and delicious blend with lush flavours […]
Borat coming to your town to make report
Will the movie be as funny as the sketches during the HBO series: Ali G? I’m going to find out tomorrow. Check out this detailed marketing review of the comedy.
Sonics, so long
Every fall, as the NBA jumps into the sports scene on the heels of another ho-hum World Series, I ask “who cares?”
For whatever reason, the NBA just doesn’t much interest me anymore. Actually, I don’t think it has since the Celtics were good. Here is why:
Individual games don’t matter. They play 82 games, and between […]
